New Arrivals Update ..Spring colors to surprise

Its been a while since we've talked about our new arrivals at Flower Girl Princess. One of the little details that this blog lets us expose that may not be to obvious in our store is not just what the new trends in children's formal fashion as as the seasons roll by, but how families and customers are responding to the colors and styles. The first obvious trend is how many new items fly out the door. This is usually predictable. After years and years of selecting styles for the up coming seasons one tends to get the hang of the popular dresses. A very simple style that has been around for a few years is this seasons winner. The colors were a bit of a surprise. Keeping in mind spring is usually the more predictable season color selection, pinks, pastels, greens and limon are always a sure thing. They do vary on shade each season, but after the cabin fever of the grey winter soft healthy colors are always welcome. This season was a bit of a head turner.....and the winners are..... Royal Blue...usually a fall and winter color, everything in the shades of royals to navys are selling fast. The newest arrivals are sometimes out the door before we have them in our hand. Did everyone plan an August wedding? Maybe not...the spring has bold bright colors this year. Another twist on flower girl dresses is that the colors are new and the best selling styles are staying the same. Many of our popular dresses have been on our line now for a few seasons, all beit these new richer colors. Then again rich tones do well with simple and classic.
This chiffon dress is not only one of our best selling flower girl choices but of course its simplicity allows for it to be worn to any Sunday service or family formal. Its really no surprise.
The next selection is a bit more specific to the flower girl uniform and may be a bit to formal for the week end attire, but rest assured a size 6 in this dress will get a lot of 'princess' play wear

Petal dresses have been around for years. Parents love these styles because they're so able to be custom. The sashes come off and the back of the dress has a little secret hole where more petals can be added and colors can be changed. Royal blue, not what you would have guessed. Is it? A fresh rich turn. This color will last the entire year. We predict is popularity all through the summer and into the winter. Stay tuned for our next big color surprise!!! One down , two to go.
