Popular New Style for 2012/2013 Holiday Season

Each autumn we find a few new winter styles for girls Christmas dresses and populate our catalogs to be ready for pre-order. This gives us a good idea on what the last minute Christmas Holiday shoppers will want for rush deliveries for their Christmas and new years parties.
This season one style has been in high demand and we declare it the over all winner of the Christmas Party Dress Award.

Coming from a name brand label the price / quality ratio does not disapoint. This over all style is a typical multi layered dress with a synthetic dupioni silk textured fabric. Dupioni silk is the kind with faint horizontal striations due to different thicknesses of thread. This creates that silk worm look that one sees with expensive raw silk.

Red and silver, of course are the first selection for Christmas, followed by blue and then ivory.

Here you can see the detail of the fabric. It is in fact a light weight fabric, which makes it perfect for thick winter tights and under slips for warmth and not always appear fresh and fluffy.

The cinched cap sleeves give the holiday doll baby feel but is small enough to comfortably wear a fur shrug for a fuller more winter feel.

The sash is built into the construction and is not a removable piece. These bow sashes are built in to tie over the center back zipper to bring in any extra fabric at the waist with out the need to make alterations. Often times, if you need the extra length you can select a style that is one or two sizes too large. Use that sash to make adjustments and it is hardly noticable when a dress has no long sleeves where measurements matter most.

You can not wash this dress in the machine at home. It must be spot cleaned, hung to dry, or professionally cleaned. The holiday sparkle embellishment across the apron are fixed with a hot applique and must have attention paid when cleaning.
